In Defense Of Plants: podcast about our work on orchid pollination

Matt Candeias is a plant lover. Being fascinated by plants, he created "In Defense of Plants", a website where he shares a lot of amazing information on all kind of plants via podcast interviews, cool videos and pictures.

Matt was kind enough to have both Ryo Okubo (a graduate student in the Riffell lab and collaborator on the orchid pollination project) and I for a podcast interview. We talked about mosquito pollination service, the diversity of techniques that we used to understand the fascinating relationship between snow melt mosquitoes and the orchid Platanthera obtusata and more generally about how cool both plants and mosquitoes are!
